Well, we have a new floor in several rooms of the house — library, hallway, foyer and living room. I wasn’t too thrilled about replacing all the carpet with vinyl, but I’ll have to say it looks nice.

I spent most of the day outside in the shop. Had to test a LCD TV and it works fine, but its not a smart tv sadly. Got some of my TEMU and Amazon stuff today, including a really nice Android tablet that I really like.

My glue for the tile on my 55 tailgate arrived today too. I’ve had time to do a little gluing of lose tile edges, which I think will work out good. I still need to get a 4×8 sheet of 1/2-inch plywood cut in half to place the plywood in the cargo area of the wagon. The glue sets up pretty quick.

I have the Depot Street CAr Show to get to this Friday, so I’m going to at least get the tail gate tile secured. Oh, and I did get new LED headlights installed on the wagon. I’m anxious to use them Friday as dusk sets.

On Sunday, the local vocational school is hosting a car show. I would like to take the Chevy there, though my wife typically goes to church Sundays. Sunday is an actual car show, and frankly, I’m more interested in car cruises, that is, events that are not judged, are not competitive. Its a whole different mind set for car owners. I just want to be seen and see other neat classic and modern cars.

My wife’s new job has her working 5-plus days a week, and she is protective of her time off, which I understand completely. My son and I may wind up going to the ATC show. Anyway, my goal this week is to get the tailgate tiles secured.
